Performance & Style is the automotive event with the hottest, loudest, most
tricked-out rides on the east coast. Held May 9-10 at the Carlisle PA
Fairgrounds, Performance & Style will be filled with drifting and autocross
action; a showfield with over 1,500 vehicles ranging from custom compacts, VIP
sedans and SUVs, donks, mini-trucks & modern muscle; a flaming hot burnout
contest; special guests and celebrity builders. A new competition to this year’s event is the Carlisle Gaming Tournament presented by the Harrisburg Ballers Club Pro Gaming Arena, LLC. On Saturday, the Harrisburg Ballers Club and Carlisle Events will present a gaming tournament featuring Madden '09, Guitar Hero 3, and Forza 2 for Xbox 360. Entry fee for the tournament will be $20 per game with over $3,000 in prizes.
Thorin M. Burgess Sr. aka t-boy, President and Co-Owner of the Harrisburg Ballers Club Pro Gaming Arena, LLC anticipates an overwhelming response to the Carlisle Gaming Tournament because of the connection between competitive video gaming and the performance car hobby: “Video gaming is playing a huge part in the design of the newest cars. So much so that a lot of custom car folks are now putting video games in their car and the racing games are always hot among gamers and car guys.” Burgess continued, “All of the Madden players that I’ve talked to can’t wait to get to the event because it’s a chance to show their skills while being surrounded by hot cars and girls. The atmosphere will enhance the tournament even more than the already hyped vibe at our other tournaments.”
